This article draws on digital humanities, information policy, and everyday information behavior scholarship to shine a light on how these patterns have led to consolidation of power and money by leagues and team owners, yet streaming offers interesting opportunities for player autonomy and choice, as well as fans more power and choice in accessing game broadcasts.
