Looking for Associate Editors for IM
Information Matters (IM) is a digital-only communication translational forum for information science, bringing relevant and current research evidence and industry developments, news, and opinion to a global public audience free of charge. We are very new, but looking for rapid growth. This is a great opportunity for new leaders to contribute and guide the development of this platform.
We are looking for motivated and driven scholars in different parts of the world to join the editorial board at IM as an Associate Editor. The position is open for anyone with an advance degree in information science, computer science, business, or related fields. Preference will be given to those who publish regularly at various scholarly venues, and those who add to regional diversity to the editorial board.
The work involves identifying interesting topics and authors, soliciting submissions, and applying light editing touches before publishing a submitted entry. As an editorial board member, you are also expected to join quarterly meetings (online).
Your contribution and role will be recognized on the IM site and elsewhere as appropriate. In the future, our sponsoring organization ASIS&T may also provide additional benefits.
If interested in this opportunity, please email [email protected] with your CV.
