Author Agreement

The parties to this Agreement wish to publish the contribution being submitted (“the Article”) in Information Matters at https://r7q.22f.myftpupload.com.

The two parties agree as follows:

1a. The Author agrees that he or she is 18 years of age or older; is the sole creator of the Article; that the Article will not infringe upon the personal rights of or give rise to any claim by any third party, including, without limitation, claims of plagiarism, copyright, or any publication rights; and that the Author has the authority to grant Information Matters the rights granted in this agreement. The Publisher has no obligation to publish and may remove from publication any part of the Article which in its opinion would infringe upon such rights of any third party.

1b. The Author agrees that he or she shall hold harmless and not hold the Publisher liable for infringement of the Author’s or the Article’s copyright or publishing rights by any other third party.

2a. Copyright of the Article reverts to the Author upon publication. The Publisher reserves exclusive online publication rights of the Article for 90 days from the date of publication on https://r7q.22f.myftpupload.com. Thereafter, the Publisher reserves the nonexclusive right to publish and archive the Article online at https://r7q.22f.myftpupload.com. The Publisher may further distribute the Article through other online distribution methods and formats as they develop, such as syndication with third-party content sites.

2b. The Author agrees that the Publisher may use excerpt/s from the Article for both the advertising and promotion of the Article and of Information Matters, including but not limited to excerpt/s on Information Matters’ website, e-mail lists, social media, and advertising.
