Rob Zylstra

Rob Zylstra has been the Executive Director of the Saskatchewan Information and Library Services Consortium (SILS) since 2013, where he is responsible for the SILS Office and the implementation of the board’s strategic and operational mandate. Rob holds a Master's Degree in Music and a Master's Degree in Library Studies, both from the University of Alberta. Rob’s prior positions include Music and Performing Arts Librarian at MacEwan University in Edmonton, and Central Site System Administrator for the TRAC consortium in Alberta. Throughout his career, Rob has focused on bridging the gap between library technology and library decision makers with the goal of improving the way customers experience library services in online spaces.
