Katrin Scheibe is a research associate and lecturer at the Department of Information Science at Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf, Germany. She has published several scientific articles in the field of information science and HCI research, including topics in the field of live streaming, information behavior and gamification. Her current research topics include social media, especially live streaming and video streaming platforms, as well as information behavior and user experience research. In 2022, a monograph about Asylees’ ICT and Digital Media Usage was published by Franziska Zimmer and Katrin Scheibe.
